Portrait of Oz

For the past few years I have tried to find time to draw one Wizard of Oz picture a year. I use this subject matter because I know it so well, and this enables me to concentrate fully on furthering my abilities ( and because they are just so fun to draw!).

At the end of 2009 I was going through one of my folders full of primary school drawings, and came across this:

Last year I didn't find the time to create something "Ozzie", but after finding this drawing I was inspired to return to Oz, and see what I could come up with now in 2010.

I'm most happy with the texture on the Wogglebug's pants, the Scarecrow and Sawhorse. Yippeee.

These are great Ben, I always like to see fanart in the artists own style. Faves have to be the lion, the pumpkinhead and the little chook.
Your primary school drawing is also great, can see the talent shining through, even then!

Hi there! I have just finished reading your interview in the IA outline.
Good artworks here, I will come back around sometimes :)
